This category covers cases of complaints by customers regarding the vendor whom they have dealt with. Just like the rest of our categories, we will control the content as the intention was not to leave a customer's complaint open. We hope that vendors who received a complaint from customers, could proactively help to resolve it reasonably even without involving us. However, we are concerned if a case was raised, and the vendor did nothing to explain or follow-up. In this case, we might (but not always) help to force an open discussion by stating in this category. Clarifications and facts would be listed so that we would not be seen as covering up for anybody.

Dealing with this category is tough, we will try out best to help by stating the claims on both sides clearly, and provide some of our comments where necessary. We do not intend to place any reports here unless we have details to verify that the merchant/vendor did not even provide even the basic customer-service reply. Many cases could have been easily resolved by responding to a customer's need - whether the result is satisfactory or not would depend on the individual case.

Some of these companies are overseas, which makes complaining to the local authorities useless. Furthermore, we are aware of websites setup to sell pirated goods, and even disqualified OEM parts. An example is a 32GB thumbdrive which was mentioned in one of our articles. This was bought a year ago at a price that was too good to be true.

- Did the vendor deliver? Yes they did?

- Did it work? No, we are unable to return to the vendor.

Fortunately, that was a cheap item. One of the complaints by our reader involved LCD TVs, and that isn't cheap. This case is still pending as we write this.
