]]>This scam involved a telephone call to a woman at Silver Street United Methodist Church, located in New Albany. A man claiming to be part of an Ohio-based Methodist church said a person from church was in need of money, a bus ticket and car repairs and that he was stranded at a Neil Huffman, a car dealership.
The female allegedly scammed drove to the Huffman, met the church member and gave him $90 for a bus ticket and food. She later was told that Neil Huffman never had his car in their possession.
