Scammers sit on either side of the table.
On one side, the scammers prey on those who are needy and greedy – need job, need money, need a new life, etc, etc.
On the other side, the scammers prey on those who are generous and kind – to give to the needy and poor.
“Misty Dawn Everly, 34, went to three churches in Williston and two in
Bronson telling parishioners she needed money to get her daughter to
Memphis for a kidney transplant.”
A call to the hospital reveals that this is a scam. We think that the scammer is stupid and naive to think that she can get away so easily.
