By pretending to be the boss, someone has been stealing hundreds of
dollars from area Clay County restaurants and getting employees to
help, according to Clay County authorities.

A person, posing over the phone as a manager or supervisor,
convinced employees at several restaurants in the county to send cash,
the Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported. Only later did employees
realize they had been duped.
