COLUMBUS, Ohio —Some telemarketers
are trying to scam you out of money by calling your home, saying your
car warranty is about to expire and if you don’t sign up the offer
expires.
The Better Business Bureau says these schemers are operating with a sense of urgency and preying on the vulnerable.
It’s a scam that’s not only affecting central Ohioans but people across the country.
The Better Business Bureau offers this advice: never give out personal information to an unknown telemarketer.
