Now we have a news from a consumer report saying that billions were lost to viruses, spyware and phishing scam. In fact, they estimated at US$7 billion in the past 2 years alone. Sometimes all it takes is just less than US$100 to install some PC protection softwares with live updates, and getting some safe surfing habbit. Even Microsoft IE and Outlook 2007 comes with better build-in protection off-the-shelf. It is cheaper to make these software developers rich than to lose much more money to virus, spyware and phishing scams.
