We received a report that this online shopping site is a scam.
Stratine.com is a new domain registered only 3 months ago in 14 Jul 08.
Based on our web research, this site appears to be up and down
irregularly. They would probably shut down the site after scamming
someone, and then reopen it up for scamming again. This has happened in early Sep (i.e. site was shut down), then someone was scammed again in end Sep 08.
One of our visitors bought a PC and camcorder from them at a price of US$1,650 but did not receive the goods.
We did a quick check on this site and its down for maintenance, and found just these words on a blank white page:
“Our website is currently down for maintenance”
We did a check on their domain:
1) This is a cheap site, running a shopping cart script on a shared server hosting another 141 domains.
2) The owner changed the WhoIs records 8 Times in less than 3 months, probably trying to change and hide their personal information.
3) All the testimonials you found on the web are all fake.
