Safety Inc. (Van Nuys) and Santa Clarita, I replied to a job posting on Craigslist and at first called the name/number listed. “Malorie” didn’t answer by any company name, just “How can I help you?” which I found suspect.
She sounded very hurried and said she’d call me back. In the meantime, I sent my resume via email and she later followed up w/ a phone call. She explained they were a “Fire Safety” Company and I’d be doing clerical starting at $4000. a month with commission based on how many policies I sold. She set up an interview for Mon. and said if I passed the interview, I’d be subject to a $75. background check. I asked who I would be interviewing w/ and she said; “Mrs. B”, again suspicious. Then I inquired about a website and when I googled it, all the BBB complaints came up. This is NOT a legitimate employment opportunity. “Melonie” is recruiting ‘suckers’ to pay “Mrs. B” $75. w/ no future in anything! There’s no way clerical pays $4k a month anywhere, unless you work for The Pope himself! BUYER BEWARE
