Better Business Bureau issued a warning about scams related to the natural disaster at Kansas (US), e.g. offers of repair services, donations, etc. This is a good advice from them: Never give cash to an individual and don’t give any bank or credit card information over the phone.

The same warning should apply anywhere else where disaster should strike.
