Mayan Calendar Predicts End of World 2012

If you have never heard about this, there is a speculation that 2012 is the end of the world, aka Armageddon.

At least, according to the Mayan (Aztec) Calendar. Does it really mean end of the world, or a new beginning?

According to one site, we are currently in the fifth age called Nahui-Olin (Sun of Earthquake), which began in 3113 BC and will end on December 24, 2011. According to the myth, the first age ended with the animals devouring humans, second age by wind, the third by fire, and the fourth by water. It also says that it would be the last destruction of human on earth.

And wikipedia also wrote that "The forecast is based primarily on what is claimed to be the end-date of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, which is presented as lasting 5,125 years and as terminating on December 21, 2012, and incorporates warnings from climate experts and other environmental scientists that the Earth has reached a "tipping point" that could generate mass extinctions, as well as interpretations of assorted legends, scriptures and prophecies..."

The calendar has underwent several cycles that claim to be the "end of world", but there is no concrete evidence to prove that there are such events happened in the past. Mayans are still in existence today.

The scholars are probably right that the 21 Dec 2012 is simply a resetting of the calendar. In the meantime, watch out for other real scams. We are sure that they will continue to exist after 2012.

Hi friends,

Don't Beleive anything... They are just "SCAMS" The world will not end completely nor the humans. We don't have proofs for it or no scientist have proved so. We just have proofs and chances for the destruction of some coastal areas due to global warming.

(Note : Antarctic Ice is melting due to High Temperature. By 2012 the sea level may raise up to 2.3 meters. And also there are possibilities for some more earthquakes under sea, causing Tsunami's.)

The Others are Just "SCAMS"

Tips you can contribute to the world :

1) Avoid / Reduce using Air Conditioners & refrigerators (Cause they Emit CFC's)

2) Avoid using Plastics. (At least, Don't put it on ground. wrap it and place somewhere in your garage / store room).

3) Use less ground water.

4) Pour / sprinkle excess water all around your house every week (maybe on Sunday) & make your neighbors  also do it, if possible. Because, it may reduce the chances of earthquake.

5) Plant trees around your house.

Thanks & Take care - By a Proud INDIAN. :)
