When was the last time someone said its stupid to fall for an Advance Fee Scam?
“The calls went on for months as the scam artist preyed on the woman’s
trust. They eventually got her to wire money offshore in the hopes of
winning a prize by mail.The woman never got the prize, but her bank account is now $40,000 short….”
“…The con artists are hard to track. Investigators said that they use
fake identification and stolen cell phones to make the calls.Victims rarely get their money back as well…”
