Is this a Scam: PartnerWithPaul.com

This website offers tips on how he made more than a million dollars online.

-- Extract 1--
"Unlike other "work at home" sites that rely on bogus testimonials and fake screenshots to try to get you to buy their junk, I've given you something they can't - real live video proof. And no, I'm not doing this to try to make a name for myself as some Internet marketing "guru."
I don't have any eBooks, courses or "membership sites" to sell you.

The truth is, the only reason I'm showing you this is because I know that if you don't trust me you probably won't take advantage of what I'm offering you - and then we both lose.

So now that you know I really can help you make money online, let's get right down to business.
And don't worry, this isn't going to be one of those mind-numbing 25 page "salesletters" ...
... and I'm not going to ask you for a dime. What I am going to do is ..."
-----

Ok, the above is what we read at the top of the first page. We glanced through and found no clue what the "money making machine" was, and we have no patience with the rest of the sales talk.

The first thing we looked for is the "money making machine". It is missing, so next we find out whether we need to pay a single cent. He says "No".

So we signed up and guess what we see in the Step 2:

-- Extract 2 --
I know money is a big issue for a lot of people - believe me it wasn't long ago that I was in your shoes - so I've figured out a way you can take the next step without risking a penny.

The website I'm going to show you will send you your work at home kit via priority mail ...
But to prevent themselves from going broke by sending this out to every curiosity-seeker on the Internet, they have to charge a small shipping fee of $9.97 for the package.

If for any reason you decide this business isn't right for you and you decide not to continue, just let me know and I'll send you $9.97 out of my own pocket.

Consider this a sign of good faith on my part .. and proof that I'm deadly serious about helping you.

"Is there anything else I'll have to pay for?"

In 14 days you'll need to invest $39.95 to cover the full price of the work at home kit and coaching IF you want to continue. A small price to pay to get rid of all your money worries ...

When that time comes you'll be in 1 of 2 situations, and it should be an easy choice for you:

You'll be well on your way to making money, and happy to pay it

You decide not to continue for any reason, and don't have to pay it

AND on top of that, they even offer a full 90-day money back guarantee on the $39.95 so there's no big rush or pressure. You'll have plenty of time to fully evaluate this program.

So like I said, this is completely risk-free. I just wanted you to have all the details up front.
-----

This guy is a complete liar. We think that this is a scam. He said that he will ask for nothing in his first page, but AFTER you have signed up. He is probably selling some web junk (general knowledge, even kids already knew) for $49.92.

Oh, if anyone thinks that a "million dollar money-making secret" can be bought for $49.92, then there is no such thing as "trade secrets" in the industry.

We are going to get $49.92-millionarire all over the world in no time. Everybody will be a millionaire in a year and there would be no poverty. This is crap.

Hi Dorothy,

I also got stuck with a scam, called (Commission Siphon) and I'm still waiting for my ($997. REFUND). I lost my job last year when the company I was working for was sold. I gave up looking for a job when my mom's health began to fail and I decided to work from home to be near her.  If you could possibly direct me in the right direction by giving me the names of some legitimate businesses, I would be forever grateful.

Sincerely,

Gloria

best way to not get scammed but see behind all the red tape without putting yourself in harms way, make a new email address something @yahoo.com or mail.com or etc. register under a dumb name like perky chestee or something weird. then maybe have a debit card with only 20 dollars on it and not attached to your real name or social security number / bank account / paypal. Easiest way to be safe and pretty sure theres nothing against doing that. just watch out for the tricky scam artists, remember they have been doing this their whole entire life and are VERY good at persuading your mind, tricking your very heart into buying and just GIVING them your money, they dont even put work into making their accounts grow. between photoshop and other sources now, its so easy to fake money making online in a youtube video or just saying things... just my $.02 :) good luck everyone.

Partner with Paul is a scam. I have phoned and emailed twenty times and they refuse to respone back. I have requested my refund of $199.95 each time I attempted to contact them - no response

Glad I looked for these comments.  I was fooled by this ad since this is a very small town and Marsh Street is not very long.  The red flag was there was not job description or requirements in the ad.  You are simply to reply with questions. Is this fraud?  Should the US AG be notified?

The job add read:

Immediate openings (Marsh Street)

Our business based in San Luis Obispo on Marsh Street is growing quickly and we need more staff to keep up with demands.

This guy pauls a Joke and the whole program is just another like many you cvan find on the net. Before the net there was mail programs just like this.

this is not new - it's the exact same crap  people have been pulling since the 70's. in the 60's people that stole money from the public like this were just criminals and they were captured periodically and served time , in the 70's there was a huge rush and the law could not keep up with it - in the 80's the law nearly gave up on it all together becuase there were just too many scammers going full bore, the Internat made it dirty cheap for the scammers to operate. No More mailing, no more phone calls, The world was prime target for the scam and everything panned out.

now 20 + years after the 80's  the scam mmarket has dwindled, but guess what!  YUP - they won't quit, they won't quit cause theer is always a brand new generation of folks thatthink they know better than the people that lived through all of these things. They think they will get over on everyone and make a million dollars for nothing. They send in thier 10.00 or the 49.00 or the whatever - and make an old school scammer even richer.

Check this out -  say I get only person to send me 11.00 a day (the figure is much greater if teh scammer applies himself at all )

1 person out of the entire world to send me 11.00 with my scam running 24hrs a day on the net.

  1x7 x 11 = 77.00 right? 52 weeks in a year : 52 x 77.00 = 4,004.00 a year.

now what happens if 10 people send me 11.00?  4,004.00 x 10 = 40,040.00   - hmm. some folks could live off that eh?

well the figure bounces around quite a bit and a fairly unsuccessful scammer will only average 10 to 30 people a day. So guess what a sucessful one will make?

remember some of the people that sent 11.00 will also spend the 49.90  lets say only 1 10th of the people that sent the 11.00   send 49.90 after thier first 11.00 payment.  1 10th of the scenerio where 10 people a day send in 11.00 a day. just to make it simple.

1 person each day sends 49.90 on top of the 10 others that send in 11.00

365.25 x 49.90 = an additional 18,225.97 : thats if only one of the ten people a day send in teh additional 49.90

this is why they will never quit.   Moral of the story : it's an Old one, Are you ready?    There is a New Sucker born every second, and that's being conservative.  365.25 days a year - 24 hours a day 8766 hours a year : 60 mintes in each hour= 525,960 minutes, 60 seconds in each minute, 31,557,600 suckers a year.

Hmm.  ya think they will quit?

I got the same email today, a guy want to buy my domain name for $700 and he refered a website of http://www.partnerwithpaul.com. I am very strange why did he want to buy my domain. (ps. I am selling silicone bracelets, silicone wristbands and custom silly bandz)

Ditto.  I appreciate the posting and the comments here.  I got the same email two days ago. A guy named Nick said that my .us domain name is special and can make hundreds of dollars a day.  He asked me to visit a web link that redirected my browser to "Paul"'s web site.  He also offers $700 to buy my domain name.  But when I emailed him back to sell the domain name, he never replied.  He must have been a liar.

Hi there! The only non-scam work from home concept that is legit and does earn someone money is the good old standby of being a business representative. There are great companies to work for and you just have to find the one that works with your style and personality. Think pampered chef, avon, mary kay, etc.

I started with one that eliminated chemicals out of cleaning products, body lotions and soaps, and made my home safer for my children (no accidental ingestion of chemical products or nasty allergic skin reactions to unneccessary chemicals). This is my style of company to work with and one I can ethically represent. IF this interests you, contact me and I can get you started! IF not, find the one that does and roll with it!

Best of luck!

Hello. I found your comment, in reference to work from home businesses, while researching the topic of partnerswithpaul (which is a joke). I am in search of a way to work from home, am have spent the last several weeks trying to weed through all of the schemes, and scams, online. I'm simply looking for an honest way to make a realistic income while working from home. You mentioned a company that you had worked for, and I was curious if you'd be willing to share that information, so that I may look in to it. It would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you. -Amber

May not be what you're after but if you have a creative streak I've had some success on sites such as cafepress.com & spreadshirt partner. Design a few t-shirts, posters etc and everytime someone buys one you get a commission. Most likely won't earn you a fortune but not a scam and it will cost you nothing either :-)

My fiance told me some "guy" wanted to buy my website....it's still under construction....odd thing is last night i needed to get my butt & gear & set up my email as we have a trade show tomorrow & I will be handing out my busniess cards........hence the email address.  I couldn't log into GoDaddy, had to call their support & then today we get a guy who wants to buy the .us extension.............HMMMM.....YUP its Paul, he want's to buy it for $700 US.  He also has the sales pitch that eveyrone is talking about, first thing I did was a search on him.   I am a retired EMT (do to injuries) & want to work from home.   I do have programs at quite a hefty price tag but these people are legit!  One thing I have discovered ovet the last year...............they never quite give you the advise on EVERYTHING you need to do to get the traffic, what goes on behind the scenes to get the traffic  & get your ranking in the search engines.   One guy does, I was blown away....I will respond in an email & no I don't promote any of these people, I just don't want to get in trouble naming names.

I took me a year to get the "good" program & a lot of $$$$ if I can pass on the info & save someone some $$$ I will...........wish someone would have told me & saved my bank acct.  I REFUSE TO BE RIPPED OFF!!!
