Lottery Scam: Award Promotion programs held by SPAIN GAME BOARD

Your Message for the Award Claim of the Online-Sweepstakes Program organized in Madrid Spain is received and congratulations for being one of the lucky Beneficiary. You don’t have to purchase a ticket to enter this Online-Sweepstakes, and your email indicating you as a (Beneficiary) in the Award Promotion programs held by the SPAIN GAME BOARD was received. Your email address was selected through the computer ballot system drawn from over 25,000 company and 60,000,000 email addresses.

This is a lottery scam executed using fake check – asking you to collect personally. Ofcourse, you can’t, so they will deliver the fake check to you and ask you to pay for the delivery – that is the money that you will lose.

And there is no such thing as “You don’t have to purchase a ticket” in a real legitimate lottery. All real lottery requires you to pay for the ticket and actively participate. And also note that you must always buy official lottery run by the state or country, and not from from unsolicited emails as well.

The full email is below. Please note that the email you received may be variations of this email, which may include different names of people, game name, winning amount, and claiming methods. Other methods known include asking you to wire funds, or to pay for an ATM card to be delivered to you. All these are bullshit and names used are all fake.
