HotScam.Com provides update on latest news, articles and actual mails from Scammers, Conman, "Social Engineers". These information are provided so as to help innocent or newbie web surfers from falling into the trap.

We do this by providing simple, conversational-style(hopefully) write-up about the scam report in our articles. So do not expect to read "commercial report" style in our articles, though we will try to put in a little bit more effort when we have the time. Most of the time we prefer to leave formal writing to the office - we only need to make sure we can write fast enough in a manner that you can understand (again hopefully).

There are no CEO or Director running our site here, unlike some of the bigger anti-scam sites. We are not running a business, we sell no products because we cannot afford the time, and we try not to become another boring database. The database in some sites do server their purpose. Over here we try our best to provide more value-add with our time, sweat, blood(sometimes) on issues dealing with scams or even related. And to make our own time worthwhile, we would prefer to enjoy what we are doing by publishing interesting stuff, including videos, pictures, and informal talks about those scams.

We absolutely do not support any scammers, cheaters, or conman on our site. And it is the objective of this site to expose or warn of possible scams, tricks, phishing or vishing attempts, frauds or new tricks employed that are illegal beyond any reasonable doubt.

For the general community, we would like to state that we are not involved in any scamming, spam mails, etc. If anyone sends you an email using our email address "something@hotscam.com", it is not from us. We protect the ID of our whois information from unnecessary spams, and we will gladly provide our full support to any legal authority if necessary, including the FBI, police, etc.

This site does not cover, promote or link to sites involved in copyright infringements, illegal trading/goods, illegal softwares, terrorism, any form of pornography, or gambling, for the sole purpose of providing entertainment to our visitors. Nevertheless, we may mention of cases without explicit linking or naming. We will only release such information to the relevant authority if required.

We welcome any news and submissions from anyone receiving similar scams mails, or any form of solicitation.

Note that certain information may be subjected to cross-examination and investigation on the truth, before it is being released on the site. This is to prevent wrong accusations or possible litigations. 

Also note that any articles related to established companies must have an external news link to trustable source(s). We do not own that information, and we would leave the external source(s) to verify the information. In cases of doubt, it would be stated clearly that the information is "unverified". We will not post "unverified" information at all, if there are no news link to an external source that is trustworthy.
