This a fake UK Lottery Organisation scam mail. Its a joke – how and why would UK lottery be held at Bangkok-Thailand?

I just got an email almost exactly like this. It’s really sad that they prey on people like this, but honestly how could someone be dumb enough to believe it? First off an “official email ” shouldn’t contain so many spelling and grammar errors. And the obvious, it says UK but somehow it’s taking place in Thailand? Right, ok.
I actually got something similar just recently.
I landed in London’s airport and immediately got an SMS saying – You’ve won $10Mill in the national UK lottery. All you need to do is send your bank details to this number…
I actually can’t believe there are people that fall for these things. But I suppose there must be some, or there wouldn’t be scams such as these.
