Comments and Forum Posting Guidelines
- 2-12-2010
- Categorized in: Blogs
These guidelines will be placed in this blog post for now. Forums has been closed off for now.
What will be deleted:
1) Claim that XXXXXXXXXX company is a scam, with no further details, reports or reference.
2) All sorts of spams.
3) Sarcastic remarks saying that you have actually won the money in what the whole world know is a scam.
This list will be updated. Spammers will spend about 15 secs to write this note, we will delete in 1 sec. *CLICK*. We have been doing this for the past 3 years or more, so it isn't really a pain.
If you spot any of the above because we missed it, then we apologize. Please contact us and we will remove them asap.
How to phrase your comments (Example):
1) Has anybody bought from XXXXXX, and were there any issues reported?
2) What do you think about this XXXXXXX site/company?
3) Do you have information regarding XXXXXXXX?
There is nothing wrong by asking for information. Everyone has the right to protect themselves by performing due diligence.
There are exceptional cases, but there will be back up evidence, e.g. in the case of some outright scamming sites such as gogochin.com (already deregistered) and roolook.com - the disappearing shopping cart.
It is not hard to sense something wrong based on what they sell, where they are (or where they don't tell us), and their track records on the web. Scam sites can't go very long without any remarks on the web. We will get someone yelling "I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY THIS F$%^&*I" somewhere in the forums. And we bet this guy has the evidence, and will be happy if the authorities call him up.
For example, (this is stupid, extreme case) I would not buy a high-end Canon Camera at 50% market price from one web shop with no address. Even if it has an address, I would wait find out more about the shop first, e.g. by searching the web or asking at the forums. If there is a lack of information, then just walk away and do not buy.
Do NOT be tricked by "Last day! 50% Off, Buy Quick!". I will only buy if this promotion comes from a well-known store, but not some stores that you have never heard of.

It is not hard to sense something wrong based on what they sell, where they are (or where they don't tell us), and their track records on the web.
Thank you Alwin. I hope people start to think a little more and forward the message to me a little less. Apparently it's doing the rounds on MySpace too

Has anyone else run into a man named Micheal Silver (or Michael Silver) who says he is from Brazil originally? He claims to be a civil engineer who is currently from Illinois but working on the bridge and highway project in Malaysia? He has been romancing a friend of mine for almost 3 months, calling twice a day, sending a romantic email every day, texting...I can go on and on about "how sweet" she says he is but last week he asked if he could borrow money from her. She was shocked and stopped taking his calls or answering email and he keeps pursuing, saying he doesn't understand, his heart is breaking etc, etc. I have copies of pictures he has sent her of him at work and of his children. Apparently his wife passed away 6 years ago and he is now ready for love... he hasn't let up with his pursuit. Anyone have dealings with him? She met him on Match.com
i'm worried a friend of mine is being scammed by a woman claiming her name is Ann Rotts from Trinidad. they've had an online relationship started on Facebook for 2 years. she refuses to meet him even tho she claims to have inherited millions of dollars from her family. she claims to be 27 years old of Indian descent and says her husband died a few years ago from committing suicide. her Facebook profile is totally private apart from flowers in her photo gallery.
my friend says she's never asked for money because she is so loaded but apparently this woman has flown friends to australia to follow my friend around. he is certain he was being followed on 2 occasions.
he has declared his love for this woman who wont let him visit her and she keeps putting off visiting him and this has gone on for 2 years.
does anyone know of either Ann Rotts or of this sort of thing happening through Facebook.
I was considering using forumlinkbuilder services for my Recruitment Agency. thanks to your reviews guys I wont repeat the same mistake again.

Taipan Scam Alert!
I tried these turkys and have done nothing but lose money. I'm talking tens of thousands. They change the names of thier publications frequently so no one catches on that 90% of thier recomendations are losers. Once in a while they get one right and tout itill the cows come home. They say you could make a million on some trade. they say their goal is to mamke a thousand new members millionairs by August 2010, and than a few mongths later say their gaol is to make thousand new maambers millionairs by December 2010. On it goes. Could this, might that. Nothing ever pays off . . .All you do is lose.

Here is how this "business" is organised
http://metalmonstermarketing.com/blog/linkerbation/forum-spam-gets-organized/
They also managed to scam many namepros members back in 2007
namepros thread closed:
http://www.namepros.com/351424-new-unique-link-building-service-3.html
And guess what? Now they have bought huge banner on the top of Namepros.com (can afford paying $4K a months after scamming hundreds people)
and have started again with exactly the same service...(+ added paypal masspay option :) BEWARE! if you pay masspay you can never
ask paypal for any refund !
Always be smart and don't repeat other's mistakes.
Always check who you are going to deal with
For example how possibly forumlinkbuilding.com can help you to increase your pagerank and to improve backlinks structure(they promise 1000's backlinks!) if
Forumlinkbuilder itself has pagerank 0! (zero) and about 500 backlinks for 3 years of hard work :)According to the whois forumlinkbuilding.com was created in 2007.
Beware of toptickets.com delivering tickets late and not providing you with new tickets on the date of your choise. Don't buy anything from them. Ever.

Scammers Back
Scammer Sean Bradley also known as Brother Sean Bradley also known as monestery of saint francis (www.monestryofsaintfrancis.com), (www.interfaithfranciscans.com), (www.sean-bradley/academy.com), (www.tau-communityofsaintfrancis.com), (taucommunityofsaintfrancis.com), (www.taucommunity.com), (www.angelhealingtherapy.ie), these are just to name a few websites.
Sean Bradley used to be Alexian Brother in Ireland and was thrown out for having intimate relationships with other Brothers. Then went to be a nurse in Manchester eventually became SRN was then struck off for fondling male patients this scammer then got involved with an Aids charity and ripped off the National Lottery UK, he was found guilty and got 12 months in jail, as he states on his website he ordained himself so he is not a real brother as any genuine religious group would disown or excommunicate.
He has came up with all these healings and workshops which is pure bullshit and my research has found that he is trying to form another charity to do the same again (defraud un-expecting people).
He is a predator to the weak minded and vulnerable and he is now ordaining new brothers in his monestry he has also got his sisters involved in the scam one by the name of Angela Kennedy from Gorey in Ireland but he tells no one that that is his real sister Angela Bradley, she also masquarades as one of his disciples, it has even got to the stage were she claims to be able to heal sick children. His so called monestry is actually his home we have been looking for this guy for years and now we have found him he has no qualifications and no healing abilities what so ever. I have actually spoken with members of his family and even they feel that he should be in a mental hospital so that he can get some real treatment for his obvious illness.
PLEASE BE WARNED SEAN BRADLEY AND HIS SISTER ANGELA KENNEDY ARE CHARGING PEOPLE UNDER FALSE PRETENSES AND THEY HAVE NO HEALING ABILITY WHAT SO EVER.
Check the above links for yourself.
