This scam mail is similar to our earlier publish related to "South Africa 2010 World Cup bid held in Zurich, Switzerland", except for some changes in numbers and awards money.
We can't be bothered if they are really bidding for the World Cup. But based on the reputation and from the security point of view, I doubt that anybody would be particularly interested in the World Cup if it is going to be held there. Someone will lose lots of credibility if the decision was made to hold the World Cup in South Africa.
No, you did not win US$2million. The mail below is a 419 scam.

At first I kind of believed it I guess everyone wants to believe it and have I even called and talked to someone who reffered to himself as Dr. Fred Moyo and he did have a African accent so I sent them information on me but I wouldn't give them bank account until I did extensive research it's not like they could have gotten much anyway. And now I know why he asked me if I was capable of flying to South Africa, to see how much money I had in my account.

I don't know if this is true...I got an email similar to this one dated on January 22, 2008, saying that I won 136,200.00 U.S. ...IF I can fly to South Africa to claim my prize. I told them all my personal informations except for my acct number..I was told that if I can't make it to Africa to claim my prize then they will appoint an attorney to represent me to collect my winnings. A man by the mane of Barr Kenneth Tshepiso and Associates was appointed to represent me. The next thing I knew is they wanted me to pay $1,485.54 in order for them to send my check thru diplomatic courier mail. I don't know if I'm going to go thru this or not..Please I really needed anybody's help. Please email me ..
Help me please.. concerned citizen |

Always remember that anything too good to be true, usually is. Don't be taken in by greed and think you can have millions so easily. These scam people have been consumed by greed, and you don't want to end up like them.
