A check was done on the IP address, which did lead back to Spain. But don't fall for it! There are many anonymous mail servers around which allows scammer to send emails which "appear" to be from there. In any case if the scammers are really in Spain, they are still scammers.... (what am I talking?) Oh yes, this is because anyone can use the same advanced fee scams to scam others, and not just South Africans or Nigerians.

thank you. I also recieved an email about this "lotteria". I love that there are poeple skilled enough to help everyone identify these scams . Sadly, though, it probably got too many poeple falling for it before it was posted to sites like this one . Plus there are still more people who are going to fall for these.

There also was a scam from Spain "Coca Cola Promotion 2006", the letter was like all those letters, shown as examples and offering 421 317 € .The claim agent was named Don Carlos Santos with these tel. lines:+34 972246362, +34 963137629.
