Fake Microsoft Lottery scams are not new, but this is the first time we are receiving a scam related to a software application by Microsoft. We are wondering if the scammers know what is "Microsoft Word"... maybe they think that its another popular name for Microsoft.

I HAVE GOTTEN THE SAME EMAIL , DIFFERENT CONTACT NAME BUT SAME THING , I "WON" 5.5 MILLION BRITISH POUNDS IN THE MICROSOFT WORD LOTTERY , THEY THEN WANTED ME TO SEND APPROX 1000 DOLLARS TO GET THE CHEQUE COURIERED . LOL SCAM
